SCR Parents and Junior Skiers, I know we are all excited about this summer waterski season and creating some “normalcy” to our lives. Each summer we look forward to the annual Junior Development Tournament for the camaraderie, socialization, and skiing shared amongst our junior skiers and families. Unfortunately, we have to cancel the Junior Development Tournament that was scheduled for June 13-14 at Ski Texas due to the Executive Orders issued by the Texas Govenor, which state Youth Sport Competitions can not begin until June 15. We have yet to decide if the 2020 JD Tournament will be rescheduled in some way, or if we will come back strong in 2021. There is so much unknown at this time, and the last thing we want to do is put our skiers, families, and officials at risk.
On a fun note, the JD Committee is working on an online store with some awesome SCR waterski gear! Be on the lookout for the link to the store soon, buy some new shirts and hats, and help support SCR JD!! Thank you all for your understanding and I look forward to seeing you all soon!!
